In november,

I designed a paper placemat for the brasserie dudock in Ahrnem.

The placemats will be used during the jewellery exibition 'Ontketend! Grenzeloze sieraden'

taking place in the Museum voor Modern Kunst in Arnhem.

Colours of life :

Some colors belong to some time periods in our life.

I see it like a circle from white to white. From a newborn white to pastel’s baby colors, going on the bright saturated colours, children love. The more you grow, the more tone you are familiar with, gray has come into your life. The values at the end turn’s up from dark to light, finishing on white,

like a flower bouquet, that has dried.

The circle is close.

For 'colors of life' , I present you abstract representations of life throught colors...

said last friday, you should remove ALL leaves from your tomatos plants

to get the last tomatos to red. the plant should not suffer from that he said !

I have this Kniphofia uvaria

for a few years now but never gave me flower...

This year thanks to my wonderful home made fertilizer

(from my wormy compost )

it doesn't stop making me new flowers.

:-)

I find the colours wonderful with this almost fluorescent orange...

it also grow very fast

in 2 days the stem take 30cm hight !

a bit of camille, this plant is so easy

it seed it one year and now it's comming back every year, self seeded

I thougt this plant with little flower is gonna died quickly

but since I have it from march it doesn't stop flowering !

ok I had an attack of aphid

that needed butal black soap covering and dead end cutting,

but now it is back on tracks !

after a few leaves appears,

I pull out the radish...

I was surprise to see that the grow one by one likes carots

and not by groups like potatos...

who knew ?

growing my own vegetables make me realize how much time, energy and water

a vegetable require and how spoil we are to have all this vegetable lying there in supermarkets....

If it happend that I have to through out a vegetable because I waited to long to eat it, I feel very gulty (even if it goes on the wormy compost which finely runs like crazy now giving me the golden black juice to feed my plants )

these last two years, I planted my seeds in mei directly outside in the pots

I didn't got flowers.

this year I'm making things right:

one week ago I put my seeds to germinate.

when they will be hight enought I will put then in bigger pots,

then in may on the balconny pots.

this way I might have flower

(and enjoy all the growing process )

this year, vegetable will be on the balconny, tomatos of course

and some radish and spinach, will see !

the tomatos I got last year was the best tomatos I ever taste!

even it was only 3 cm hight

it had more taste then anny supermarket tomatos,

try it ... you wont be disapointed

when I went to the garden center, I bought small plants,already germinated...

I took a cramberie one that already grown 7 cm in a week and made flowers.

the same for this rudbekia, that was 2 cm hight when I got it!

I put it in the living room in to 'de-frost'

the same plant appear in my compost pot !

or was it the wind or a divine action? I don't know ...

It is much vigourous that the original plant I bought

and is still in flower right now

when I already prune the other one for winter.

This ia new plant I boghy recently, it likes its new habitat and it made me some great colourful flowers.

This one also have great colours, a pale yellow very delicate, I'm quite happy with this plant I hgot las year, It survive my prunning and the long winter! only 2 shoots out of 3 came back but enought to get nice flowers again this year :-)

dear followers, I'd like to appologize for my very very long absence.

I have been doing a lot of things, making new jewellery, finding the proper boxes for them, going on market, selling to galeries and shops... visiting Keukenhof and not taking care of my garden... well I bought a tomato plant that goes wel (I have 3 green tomatos !! :-) so let's put some pictures to summury what I've been doing these lasts months. :

The flowers are there now ! do you see the strawberry plant there, that grow back after a long winter with a lot of snow ... ?

even the compost pot give me nice flowers !

I took this 'stok roos' after the summer and put it on the compost pot. now it has come back to life !

bees food ! we don't see so well but the salvia I prune at the end of the summer it now back with a nice shape !I also hoope to get some gaura from last year but I don't see anny leaves comming out, we'll see .

of course some 'jonquilles' don't know the word in english !

the new pots I bought last saturday with some already grown plants ! because bying some already grown plants feels like cheating, I keep one container to grow it my own . I sow californian pupys ...

I tried the transparent glaze on the porcelein but I need practice to get a regular layer !

this was the lucky piece that stay in one piece...

the green one explosed and made some funny 'brain' shapes

*the yellow and the red was no better !*

at lease the red is a nice red, I just have to try again and hope this time my pieces don't break !

I started a new project with porcelain making. this is the begining. porring porcelain into my molds .

My new shape is geometrical, a tetraedron. Make my think of an atome that compose a plant for example.

the chrysanthème found on the steet last year is finaly in flower! but just one side of it give a lot of flower, it happends..

the tomato plant is still alive, will it pass the winter? there is 2 'big' tomatos and one small, plus a few flowers. Unfortunately there is no sun to tan the tomatos or bees to polinate the flowers...

Today , I worked on the [un]limited design contest http://unlimiteddesigncontest.nl/en
. I design a necklace with a butterfly element that you assemble to create your necklace. next wednesday, I'll go to fablab amsterdam to cut it out in a felt sheetwith the laser cutter machine.

collection of earrings, made with lilies flowers, papier maché, paint, vernish and silver. the sizes are around 12 x 4 cm depending on the model. Even if they are big, they are light because it's flower & paper and a bit of silver. totally wearable !!
