stay curious

The olthest we gets, the more we know about things, and this is normal, the magic of the discovery slowly disappears ...
But sometimes comes across a fruit or plant that comes out of our daily life,
the curiousity is back
and the magic of surprises happend again
Still being amazed as an adult is important, to keep our curious child soul.

This astonishment to discover new things, beautiful things, I use it in the making process of  my jewelry.
You probably  noticed that I love working with the beauty of the cuts. Or how I cut a fruit, a vegetable or a flower to reveal the inside beauty and to create a new and original object which hopefully surprise and fascinates you!

I used this principle for my 'artichoke' brooch , my 'buttercup' & 'onions' brooches from  'My little garden' collection and for 'bulb' earrings.

Today I wanted to share my latest discovery,
the inside of a poppy flower from the bouquet of 'Bloemen my van haas', I bought at the inauguration of the 'Wildernis' store.
Don't you find the inside of a poppy beautiful  with its geometrical structure?
